My name is MRS. DSOUZA, mother of a 2 & ½ yr old girl . when I knew I was expecting the second time I was really thrilled. On 16 th September I gave birth to a boy, with this my family was complete, but what followed after that has become a part of my life. Its very easy to speak about it now, few months back all I could do was cry my heart out.

My boy Jed was born with a small defect (scientific term CLUBFOOT, ref: www.taralnagda.com). On the day my child was born I was not informed by my doctor nor my family members because of my painful labour . The next morning when I happened to see him, I was shocked, cried and cried a lot, asked God several times Why me ? all types of questions filled my mind, like what if my son will never be able to walk at all or what if he would be lame in one leg and lots more, any amount of explanation from my family members was in vain but I knew there was one person who would never lie to me and that was my gynaec ( MRS. ROOPA UPADHAYA),she explained to me that this was nothing serious and it could be corrected, but since I had not see anything like this before it scared me at first.

On 17th September both my childs legs were put in a cast, it hurt me to see him like that but if it was going to benefit him then there was no complaining.

The first cast was removed after a week and I noticed a change in my childs legs, this gave me some hope that after all this is not so bad, as anything worse could have happened. Along with the Doctors I had great faith in God and I knew that he would never let me down.

On 18th September I got to meet Dr. Taral Nagda, who once again explained that this was not a serious defect and it could be corrected thru a technique known as the PONSETI TECHNIQUE. I started visiting Dr. Nagda at his Ghatkopar clinic, once again my childs legs were put into a cast, this was the second one and exactly after 15 days a third one was put.

The change that I found after the third cast was removed was really suprising, his legs were coming back to their normal position , to my surprise Dr. Nagda did away with the cast and gave him a pair of shoes to be worn daily, these shoes were like any other normal shoes but it only had a aluminium rod in the middle that was attached to both the shoes. This again brought tears to my eyes cause my child was finding it very difficult to bend his legs or even shake for the first few days, after few days he got used to it, thank God. Removing and putting those shoes was really a major task but does it matter when its for ur boys benefit. This went on for 3 months, and now he uses the shoes only at night.
I believe that this to will come to an end but in its own time.

So to those mothers who are going thru the same, have faith NOTHINGS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD.
Till then I have to have a lot of patience and faith in God and Jeds doctor - Taral Nagda
